State Testing

Knowledge Test:

To receive your permit, you must pass the knowledge test and vision test. You must schedule a appointment to take the test at  drive.mn.gov

In St. Cloud, go to:  3335 West Saint Germain St  Ste #103   Monday - Friday 

Bring: blue card (from Superior), a parent, original or certifed birth certificate, social security card (other options for ID are listed in the drivers ed manual), and $.  

Road Test:

To receive your license, you must pass the road test. An appointment is necessary.

Road tests are available: Monday - Friday 

Bring: white card (from Superior), your permit, car, proof of insurance, driving log and social security number.

The DMV is now charging for a missed written or road test , so if you can not make your appointment cancel and reschedule to avoid a no show fee.
